The Wooden Map Company makes unique maps and other images out of exotic hardwood veneer. Each piece is a unique blend of history, geography and calligraphy using unparalleled mastery of wood veneer techniques. Sometime this year work will start on map number two-hundred.
All maps start with geographical and topographical features and can be customized by interesting and little known historical or geographical facts. Almost every map is made to order.
The map may be an antique reproduction or it may use the most up-to-date information. The only limit is the imagination. Standard sizes range between eight inches and twenty feet and custom sizes are available.
